Dave De Rose released his 4 record on Nature Scene this week. Comes with a beautiful digital booklet featuring the god-like photographic artwork of Joanna Natalija Gourley.
"The Muse. A goddess in disguise. A heavenly figure, dwelling for a time in our mortal world, among us mortals. A thunderbolt sighting of such a being strikes deep into the soul of our musicante, causing him to hear and envision textures, tone drones and sonic moods, to be carried on the beating wave of sound and surrender to the song of desire, to know the impossibility of the tale, and finally to celebrate the rising light of new creations. Though the muse has travelled on, she's etched here forever."
"Mused" is available now from our shop!

FutureAges release 001 E.P. PJ Harvey meets Mars Volta is the best we can do to describe these guys, you basically need to see for yourself. Making their London debut and releasing their first E.P in a single night, you can safely expect nothing less than full-on: http://soundcloud.com/futureages
Speak Galactic are one of the most captivating live bands around at the moment. Hailing from Brighton and making their debut London performance for NSR (very excited), this is a must see for fans of ambient / noise / fucked up pop. A boiling brew of electronics, ghostly voices and pounding drums: http://soundcloud.com/speakgalactic
The Righteous Ones of the Blazing Rockets are deep in another intense writing phase having just released their Cancer Mountain / Rockette double a-side 7" (NSR009). Strictly limited and hand numbered, they're available only at live dates, and when they're gone they're gone. Somewhere between Do Make Say Think, Shellac of North America and Electric Wizard, three guys make the noise of ten men: http://soundcloud.com/blazingrockets
Plus vinyl-only DJ set from dj ravedamage and Aloosh DJs
In a perfect world, all mid-week gig nights would be like this.
This is the band's debut release on NSR, and commits two of their oldest tracks to the record.
Cancer Mountain / Rockette is a double A-side, strictly limited (300 copies) and hand numbered 7" vinyl.
The first low-number copies are available at a very small number of gigs, with the remainder being made available shortly through the NSR shop. Digital is forthcoming, so stay tuned for that.
The Righteous Ones of the Blazing Rockets just opened a night of incredible bands at Sticky Mike's in Brighton. The Physics House Band, Speak Galactic and Delta Sleep picked up where they left off and relentlessly tore shit up all night long. All of these guys are on top form right now, so get it whilst it's hot.
This was a Cupboard Music night, our promoter and label friends who are doing some excellent stuff down on the south coast. Some photos on Brighton Noise here, and a few videos here:
If you can't wait until one of their next gigs, then you can hear Aloosh play live on London's Resonance 104.4FM from midnight tonight. And if you're anywhere else in the world, listen online at http://resonancefm.com/listen.
Enjoy - NSR.
On November 3rd, Frizz Records have put our very own Aloosh on the line up for their monthly celebration, Parade #4.
A month (to the day!) before the release of their next single 'Armour' - you can see the band at Dalston Servant Jazz Quarters, just a 5 minute walk from either Dalston Junction or Dalston Kingsland.
We'll see you there, NSR.
Check out this video for Aloosh 'Butter' - a stripped down, live track from their album due for release in 2011. This version of the track (and the video) were recorded in the lounge of Studio 180, just before their recent single launch and all sounds are from the organ. Enjoy & Share. NSR.
Dave De Rose releases "Don't Go", a mini EP to follow up "Radici in Me" and precede his forthcoming full length album (TBA).
Get the MP3 version now for FREE, or buy the audiophile high-quality AIFFs (both versions complete with artwork).
It's been quiet here lately but there's a lot going on behind the scenes at Nature Scene.
Aloosh are working hard on their new full length album, here's a sneaky preview of the next single video shoot. 'Time' will be available in about a month, we'll keep you posted.
Dave De Rose is working on his follow up E.P and it will be available very soon, just like the last FREE here at Nature Scene.
YILA is busy producing Aloosh's record and also Scroobius Pip's new solo long player. Expect great things (and big colloborations) from that!
Finally TROOTBR are in some dark room toiling away on a release, they will come out of the cave soon…
Until next time
NSR
Aloosh support 'The Chap' on Monday. Click on the picture to get your tickets, the last Chap show was a sell out!
Aloosh are working on a new album with a 7" coming before the summer.
Some cheeky person video'd a sneak of one of the new tracks:
